Dear Hadley-Luzerne School Community,

The District has learned that two individuals, one in the Elementary School, and one in the High School have tested positive for COVID-19. These individuals will have to quarantine and be cleared by the Department of Health before returning to school.

These individuals have not been in the school buildings for several days, therefore contact tracing within the District has been completed.

Please note that The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy laws restrict us from disclosing or confirming any personally identifiable information. We cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.

Our goal in sharing this information is to ensure that our district families are always up to date with what is happening in our community. This notification to parents and guardians is part of our commitment to keeping you informed about the spread of COVID-19 cases.

Please feel free to contact your child’s school office if you have any questions.  As always, we will inform you if there are any new cases within our district.
