This afternoon, November 5, 2020, the district learned that an individual in the Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual is now in quarantine and will have to recover, receive a negative COVID-19 test, and be cleared by the Department of Health before returning to school.

We are working closely with the Saratoga and Warren County Health Departments on contact tracing efforts. At this time, we will be quarantining individuals that have come in close contact with the person who has tested positive. If you or your child were in close proximity to this individual for a certain period of time, the County Department of Health will contact you directly.

Please note that The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy laws restrict us from disclosing or confirming any personally identifiable information. We cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.

Since the start of the school year, the district has been thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting all buildings on campus, in accordance with guidance from the New York State Department of Health and the CDC.

Currently, our district remains open for in-person instruction under the guidance of Saratoga and Warren County Public Health. Please contact the district office if you would like more information about our health and safety procedures.
